First upload the photo you want. Once you've done that, there should be a "make this my profile photo" on the menu at the top of that page.

After reading about recent url changes, I checked some of my stuff. I happened to be using Google Chrome as browser.

In one of my albums, Acclimatization for Mont Blanc, two pictures do not show up properly:
Tour Ronde and Distant Mont Blanc, respectively. That is, these pictures have a table cell, with the proper title and reference (if I click in the cell, the correct picture page opens), but in the table cell, instead of the actual picture, a little symbol shows denoting that the picture couldn't be loaded. However, if I directly enter the url, I do get the correct small picture!

The other pictures in the album, as well as my other albums look fine.
Also, when I click View Gallery, everything looks fine.

In Firefox and Internet Explorer it works as it should, so apparently the behavior is browser-dependent. It's consistently these two pictures. This may or may not have something to do with recent changes, because I'm not 100% sure that these pictures were displayed properly in Google Chrome before, since I regularly switch between browsers.

Any idea what might be going on here?

What Aurthur wrote will definitely work. But I just uploaded a new profile photo without any issues as well. What problem are you having exactly? Please post an error message or a screenshot of what you're seeing if you can.

I know what Arthur wrote will work (current profile photo was done that way) but that's not what I'm reporting here.
In the past, (as recently as the weekend before last) I could click on Update Profile>Choose File-pick a photo from my computer (not all ready on SP)>Click on Update Profile and be done. Now I go through the same process and after clicking on Update Profile (at the end of the process) nothing happens.

Nothing happens=Choose picture, click on update profile and,..........the page remains displayed, but doesn't update. In the bar above that indicates activity this is what I see- http://www.summitpost.org/bioform.php , off to the right of the bar I see "X" instead of the "working" symbol.
Maybe it's something on my end but it's not the same as it was a week and a half ago.

Just tried to add a photo to one of my pages with the same result. Again in the bar above I see- http://www.summitpost.org/create_object.php -but it never creates???
Correction-Tried again, moving on to something else in the computer and after 5 or so minutes, the photo did finally upload! Will try the profile picture once more and give it more time to load.

Tried it a couple more times and it took the 2nd time. Don't know if it's large, don't know for sure how to tell. Here's the ID on it-674883 -Is it large?

I clicked on the "delete function" several times, and nothing happens.

Could somebody delete it for me please. Thanks..

Only in off-route. Been that way since the last transformation.

I'm not sure when this started -

Previously, when on the "Images" pages, you could hover cursor over the thumbnail and the image number would appear. This made it easy when editing pages to get the image number needed to insert images.

Now, the title of the photo appears.

I have tried it using both Explorer and Firefox. Same results.

I can only get the image number by pulling up the image properties.

The discussion boards have been behaving very oddly last night and this morning. The "last read" feature crashed last night; Off-Route disappeared today and "last read" misbehaved again.

Solutions: erasing cookies, erasing board cookies, logging out and logging back in.

All have worked, but they have not been necessary before.

Has anyone else experienced problems?
