Thank you feature

I like it! I think it reminds people that the purpose of the various forums are to assist others with information that can be useful to their climbing/hiking and various back county inquiries. But is it the new SP crack? I can already see the need for recognition brewing to a boil. Will the person with the most thanks actually be the most helpful? Is this the idea? Hey, are we getting any points for our thanks!? Where are my points damn it?!

Most of you know this, but for those of you that don't I have low self-esteem.

Please feel free to thank me for this post. :P

Damn! I just noticed vancouver islander's post on this subject.

Carry on....

It's bad form to beg for votes. Form a voting circle instead.

I disagree with Dave's thanks to Jason, so next time he does somthing that I would normally thank him for I'm going to omit my thanks. Wish you hadn't have done that now don'tcha Dave? :o :P

Actually, I would probably opt for something stronger than "Boo", like "F-off."

Is there a button for "I just realized I spent several precious minutes of my life reading this thread, and now I'm never going to get those minutes back?"
