Range Parentheticals

This is a small detail, but also one that affects everybody's pages to some degree.
One minor but useful feature of SP is the association of a parenthetical with the name of a mountain, generally indicating its range or region. So, for example, if you were to look at Gangolf's profile, you would see that his Reidberger Horn is associated with "(Allgau Alps)" whereas his Madari is associated with "(Cyprus)."
I have noticed that this feature operates quirkily. For example, if I want the Chugach peaks for which I have pages to get parentheticals saying "Chugach Mountains)", it doesn't work for me to make the recent "Chugach Mountains" range page their parent. Instead, I have to make an old "Chugach Mountains" album a parent, which is unfortunate since albums shouldn't be parents of mountain pages. Also, the parenthetical feature gets confused by "related" attachments and turns itself off. My Indianhouse Mountain page won't display a "(Chugach Mountains)" parenthetical UNLESS I make all three items to which it is attached its parent, including a non-parent/non-child page called Turnagain House Trot. It seems that the parenthetical feature is turned off if "attach as related" has been used for any OTHER associated page.
Maybe the best solution would be to let people designate one parent-child relationship as the "dominant" one for any given page, and that dominant attachment would supply the parenthetical.
