No function to list climbed mountains in profile?

I´ve recently registered to SP after taking part of the content for a few months. While updating my profile i do not find a function to list mountains/peaks that I´ve climbed in my profile. Maybe I´m blind. I´ve spent quite some time searching the forum and reading FAQ but all I find is how to list mountains that you "create" but what is I´ve climbed a mountain that already exist in the massive archive of SP? Is there no pre-defined function to list these in your profile and link them to their respective information page?

Sorry if this question has been up before, but as I said, I didn´t find it in the forum.

/Fredrik

Hi Fredrik,

You should post the mountains climber's logs first. If you prefer to add more information, pics... Then you should add a trip report. Both, climber's logs and trip reports are in the left menu of each mountain page. When you finish they will show in your profile page below your albums.

Don't hesitate on asking anything more...

Ok, so if I report on the climbers log for each mountain they then appear on my profile as climbed? Then what about an unsuccessful attempt? If I enter it in the log, then it would falsley appear on my profile or am I misunderstanding?

When you "sign" a log, there is a box to check if you successfully reached the summit. That box will not show on your profile page, but anyone clicking on the link will be able to see that you are not trying to falsify anything.

There are sometimes very good reasons for making a log entry even if one does not attain the summit.

Ok, thanks!

Just wanted to double check so that other people won´t misunderstand the listing of an aborted attempt.
