Scary? You could at least thank him. He was offering it to you so you can save SP. We need more blowhards lately.

Here are a couple more nice predictions:

I have traveled the length and breadth of this country and talked with the best people, and I can assure you that data processing is a fad that won’t last out the year.

The lyrics combined with a Bieber reference remind me of this:

Geez, I was starting to worry about you until I got to the end of your post.

Just in case, here's some Biebster to cheer you up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcTLJ692F70

I'll throw in some Gaga for good measure. I think she's trying to save the California wolf from pop star politicians. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhTd4_Ids80

I don't know how anyone can be sad with Marmaduke annoying the elitists and all.

Are you then saying I might be helping save SP?

Marmaduke, you are one of the honey badgers of the forums. Keeping threads that are of little or no value, besides entertainment, alive, even when faced with ongoing criticism, is what matters most to the ongoing success of SP. Therefore, you are indeed one of its greatest saviors.

As for me, if I'm in the forums too much, regardless of quality of discussions, I start to feel like the honey badger in the part at the end when he's recovering from the snake venom...then I know it is time to give the computer more rest again for awhile and devote more time to chores, parenting, necessary reading, hiking, etc.

Sean, the latter part of your post is why I'm staying away from "off-route". Spending too much time there............amongst a bunch of hypocrits. I can come over here to the front page and get beat up and be rediculed from the real climbers. It's a much more enjoyable experience.

Seems wise, but rather than looking to any SP forums for daily sustenance, one might consider looking to Adam Lambert's American Idol run for life's most important lessons. Every song had such deep meaning and entertainment, but alas it was not his time to win yet. If "Tracks of My Tears," isn't a perfect metaphor for depressed entertainers out there, perhaps one of his many other performances will speak volumes on this day or some other:

Early on he was singing this.

Later it was this.

In the end it was this, with the help of many friends, including the popular straight guy who beat him out for the coveted crown:

Have you been off climbing?!?!?

Seems like quite a few trip reports and mountain pages have been added to what's new. 8)

And to help things out I posted a new trip report with a lot of eye candy, videos and story telling. :)

This is the biggest reason you don't see a whole lot of mountain pages posted by me. Now granted if I really wanted to I could take many "cheap" mountains that are not very exciting, but it's not my style.
