Don't jump to conclusions. I've accidentally disconnected a site from a database based on a simple conflicting php code. So perhaps there might be an upgrade or something. So for now were on hold.

When I said I've disconnected a site in the past, I was not talking about mbpost.

As for the other question, meaning that it's probably something simple of why there is a disconnect. Later today I'll try and figure out what went wrong with mbpost (I have no access to actually editing mbpost but have a contact who can help). His name starts with a "J".

HEY Josh - I have a computer question. After I log in to mbPost.com, I get the following ERROR MESSAGE when I sign into the FORUMS.

Failed obtaining forum access control lists

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1194 Table 'ug' is marked as crashed and should be repaired ...

Any ideas on what's UP ??? (I tried signing out and signing in several times, and STILL had problems posting in the Forum ... THANKS in advance !!!)

I get the same error message too. It does say Table 'ug' is marked as crashed and should be repaired so I'm guessing some change was made that created this error. At least the site is back up, hope to get the forums up soon too.

Hmmm, maybe I got banned and nobody ever notified me of the banning ... it does seem pretty odd.

Sorry, but only moderators can reply to posts in this forum.

Not that long ago most of the users got made moderators while also making the board only available to moderators to post on. The idea was to prevent all the spam that was going on. The explanatory thread is here (http://www.mbpost.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9084). I guess perhaps your profile needs to get added to the mod list.

Might want to PM visentin on here as he seems to be in the know about the mod list thing (he started the thread which you can't read). Not sure if he's been following this thread. Alternatively user t0x0 on mbpost who worked on the process. Good luck.
