Summitpost Upgrade: Image Tagging

I think that tagging an image would be one of the most useful tools that can be added to Summitpost. Here is an example of one of the many tools it provides. It can also be used for identifying a particular point on a route and so on. I do not know how hard it would be to install this on Summitpost but if it is possible, I think it would extremely valuable. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Let me take Bubba's idea a step further. It would be nice if when you tag a mountain, it creates a link to it. This could work using ajax to bring the titles. Matt, you've used FaceBook, right? In facebook you can tag your friends in a photo. Why not apply this concept to mountains! :D I've actually thought about this last year. Even though I plan on creating this for my own site some day, it will be a long time before I even attempt this (I don't even know JavaScript right now). :P

Either way, this would be a nice addition to SummitPost. 8)

One caveat: like all things facebook-inspired, this is another possible vector for spam and for harassment. Make sure you also build some convenenient quick-delete tools :)

Can we tag members' profile shots as being 'sexy', 'skanky', or 'WLTF'?
