The SP is most of all about exploration, and this is a possible FA.

Just wanted to give props to you guys for choosing mountains that aren't in the "WHATS NEW" page for our "Featured Mountains" on the front page. This is what it should be all the time. IF I wanted to see, the whats new page mountains, I'd go there. Keep it up. If not, I will gladly run that section of the page.

I have to whole heartily agree with visentin, those are very good pages! Not only lots of info, but for those who don't like reading it's got plenty of eye candy too! :D At least one of those pages should go on the frontpage! 8)

Thanks ;) The Bigorre in particular is the SP page I've been the most working on...
I understand it was not featured cause I released the Béarn and the Luchonnais as well withing a short time... but Elves you're welcome to pick Bigorre or Néouvielle if there is lack of new areas in the future ...

Despite dismal weather, Mount Rainier season is under weigh. Might be good to feature this article on climbing Mt Rainier: http://www.summitpost.org/so-you-want-t ... ier/507227.

City Of Rocks is a good area page with quality pictures and beta, as well as numerous rock and route pages. I think it is cool to feature some of these less frequented areas on the front page.

Here are a few more that would never make the front page without someone pushing them to the surface:

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch

Mississippi Palisades

Starved Rock

This last page is a bit sparse and not quite "featurable" but I think it is intriguing:

Pictured Rocks (Wild Iowa)
