I recommend Fastpacking the JMT in 9 days. When it was first posted, almost a month ago, it had no images and I guess that may have kept people from giving it a closer look. A pity, really, for it's well worth reading. And by now it's illustrated.

I actually have that trip report in my list of "featured trip reports". Last time I looked it had a lot of text but little in the photo sense and knew it was under construction. I stared it because I figured some day it might be fixed up. However your post will speed up the process of it being featured.

Note to all fellow Elves:

The Pickets page has been featured seven times now. It's a fine page, but it's best if it isn't featured over and over again. There is a glitch with the page that makes it not have a featured badge. No harm done, but it seven times is enough.
