So many things about it scream that it is not by the member. A quick look on Google confirms that the image is used by other sources and in other contexts.

I noticed this first thing when opening SummitPost. I guess the owner didn't want it up anymore.

I contacted Matt to change the Photo of the Day.

I had asked the submitter if it was his picture since based on the comment he made, it didn't seem to be. Shortly afterward, he removed it.
