Waddington or Cirque of the Unclimbables???
Posted: Tue Jul 16, 2013 11:51 pmLeaving to one or the other, which would be financially more appealing (i.e. costs less)- any big differences??? Esp. if numerous extra days possibly alloted for foot travel vs. shelling out $$$ for airline travel- it seems that this is the biggest/easiest way to get rid of money quick.... Most likely would be headed up from San Francisco, but potentially Wyoming, if we were to end up there to climb. Would likely allot 2 - 3 weeks (what seems to be the standard weather window), potentially more if it were beneficial. Would prefer to do the original route on Waddington (or the Beckey variation), & the standard route on Lotus Flower Tower, but if there were more time (unexpected), other summits/climbs around either area would be cool to). Anyone done both? Both look phenomenal!
