Need advice on good rock climbing guide for Oregon

Thinking about Smith Rock, any suggestions?

don't waste your $$ (even if it is cheaper) on that other "select" one by Thesenga (IMO).

Fred, I think so. It's got all that 1ed had + more....more routes (everything up to and including last summer's FA's apparently), more clever/funny little route description tidbits from Watts, (beautiful) color photos with route overlays, color topos, expanded history section. As far as I heard, he only took out the short of list of recommended climbs at each grade. Think you'll be surprised how much new stuff has been put up but not really documented until now...restoke the fire for smith! :)

PS it's not the usual shitty quality falcon climbing guide (this one is an exception & another high water mark setter)

dangit....i bought the select one recently...

gonna go pick up the falcon one now for sure...

Thinking about heading down sometime in March for a long weekend...
