Cascadian couloir in the spring
Posted: Wed Apr 28, 2010 7:56 pmI was thinking about doing a climb and ski of the Cascadian on Stuart at some point in the next couple weeks. I've climbed it in the summer, but can anyone comment on any difficulties in the spring (aside from skiing the couloir itself; i'm a pretty experienced skier, so that shouldn't be an issue)? Also, I'm curious whether the snowpack will get consolidated enough anytime soon to make it safe to do this trip without avalanche equipment.
