What happened? Is this the Red Mountain near Commonwealth Basin? Avalanche?

Looks like it was a cornice that broke and carried her down.

You just never know... Last news report was they have located her but still unstable snow conditions for recovery.

Very sad, I was up there this last summer. I just remembered the two people I met on the summit and scrambled down into commonwealth basin with throwing a couple rocks right down where the cornice would have fallen... it is indeed trecherous terrain.
