Okay folks, we have been challenged AGAIN!! After beating the world with awesome photos, people still don't believe that the Cascades have a fall. It is time for us to show the world, ONCE AGAIN where the colors are at!!!! If you have some photos of fall colors please posted them on the link down below. Just know they have to be in Washington State and they have to be from the year 2011.

i've no photos to add this year, but I remember one fall driving over Blewet Pass on our way back from Leavenworth. There were some Birch trees just outside of the Town of Liberty that were so beautifully yellow/orange it looked like the trees were on fire,

A couple of pictures have been added to the album from Mount Rainier National Park. The color is just beginning to turn there.

Fall is still coming in. I've been on quite a few trips and have not seen much of fall colors. Once Early October comes around you should be seeing more pictures from me. :)

Just saw a good TR! Colchuck Lake and Spider Meadows/Gap are looking good. Pyramid Mountain to the east of Carne will be a good peak this weekend!!!

Curse you Greg, you knew I'd be away from the East Coast for much of our season this year! So who challenged you this time?

Just posted one I took at Easy Pass on 10/2. The lighting that day was challenging for pictures. Alpine larches weren't quite at their zenith. Unfortunately it seems like we're going from summer straight to winter and getting up to 6,000 feet to see some larches will involve snowshoes very soon!

Yeah, I KNOW about the polar air mass coming down from the Pac NW ... it's making things quite comfortable here in Arizona.

So, where's the Larches ???

Someone else from West Virginia challenged me this time. I won't call him out though! Hopefully some good pictures will be ready this weekend.

I'm headed to the Enchantments next weekend. Perhaps the colors will be vibrant then. I'm definitely bringing by Nikon DSLR in the pack. I will post them if they are worthy of a Washington Fall representation haha
