Did not see any postings on this forum but Mount Ellinor trail and area is currently closed and has been since 3 July due to aggressive mountain goats along the trail. Memo posted at the FR24 / 2914 intersection and at bottom trailhead did not indicate when it will open back up.

From what I read from the National Forest post, it has not been re-opened. The sad thing is, they say it's most likely going to closed for the rest of the season.
