What glacier is that?

I’ve been going through my old slides and cannot remember where some of them were taken and would appreciate help.

I believe this is Rainier and most likely Cowlitz Glacier (with Adams in background? However, Adams’ top looks too sharp).

Perhaps someone would be able to identify it easily. Thanks a lot.

If Adams is in the background then I don't think it could be the Cowlitz because you'd have to be looking strait down the glacier to be able to see Adams.

Well looking at Google Earth it looks like even if you could see Baker from the Cowlitz (blocked by little Tahoma) you couldn't see it and Cowlitz Chimneys in the same shot.

It's the Ingraham Glacier taken from the ridge between it and the Cowlitz. The silhouette is part of Little Tahoma and I'm pretty sure it's Glacier peak in the distance.

You may be right but then I think the pic would have to be taken somewhere around Cathedral Gap; however, I’m not sure if there is enough clearance.

Or is it possible that it is Emmons Glacier taken from the bottom of DC or still Cowlitz Glacier taken from below Camp Muir?

I think I can make out grand park just above the glacier, in line with glacier peak. I am also guessing that is Stuart and the enchantments on the right horizon.
