Cotopaxi on 6th/7th August Partners

anybody kicking about nr Quito on these dates for a blitz on Cotopaxi? Will have finished work with a school group on the 5th and looking to do a quick hit ideally on the 6th, getting a lift over to the hut on the night of the 5th. Failing that has anybody been up recently who can advise on state of crevasses, whether there´s likely to be a stamped out track? Has to be the dates above as I need to then travel down to Huaraz to meet up with my gf and more climbing down that way.
