Climbing permit of Muztagh ata will rise double
Posted: Sun Mar 16, 2008 2:07 amThe local goverment of Xinjiang China will possible to rise the climbing permit. All the peaks which are between 4000m-8000m will rise double.The climbing permit of Muztagh ata will be 16200 yuan(=1620 Euro). Last year it was 8800 yuan.
Years ago it was 1080 USD.
SInce last year one group had to pay for a liaison officier 12000 yuan and ecologial fee 240 yuan per person.
Now the total cost on the fee will be over 3000 Euro for a 10-pax group or smaller one.
I learned that the fee of climbing permit in Tibet has risen a lot too.
