Anybody know how the system work, interested in 30 day independent expedition to the range.

Almost impossible right now. Very hard to get access.
Try approaching the CTMA direct. Depending on the peak you want, it might be a ridiculously expensive peak fee.

We are interested in making a trip into some of the more unexplored glaciersystems, and therefore do not have our eyes set on one specific mountain.

I guess you have seen Japanese Alpine News #12, 2011. It has the most comprehensive coverage of the area that I have seen.
