I went camping with the family this weekend. The temperature only fell to 37 degrees, but I wasn't too hot. I slept very well. In fact, I think I had the best night's sleep I've ever had. The only negative was that my legs got a little cold a few times. I was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I surmise that since I'm a side sleeper my legs may have compressed the down a little bit. When I camp in colder weather I'll wear a base layer. Hopefully I won't have any further problems. Overall, I loved the feeling of being wrapped in soft warmth. My bare feet were never cold, and my head felt toasty inside the hood. I'm looking forward to other great nights of sleep in this bag.

Glad to hear that you chose a good bag and are happily satisfied with it so far.

I personally believe you will find this bag a real jewel when you put it to the true test of lower temps in an Alpine setting.

I have a Volant in Epic and love it. Also have another FF jacket in EVent, but I think that fabric is too heavy, not as compressible, and (could be just my imagination) dont' seem to allow down to loft as much as lighter fabrics. Unless you live in a really wet place, I would go with Epic: a good compromise in durability, water resistance, down proofness, and weight. Also, Volant is designed for tight fit and yet allows layers underneath surprisingly well (I'm 6'2" 190lb and have size L). I always leave the optional hood at home.

Have no experience with Vapor, but personally I look at FF first when searching for a down clothing.
