Next time you are in the Bay Area or out in the Sierra let me know and we'll split some whisky ok?

Well, I probably would have written the elves first. But, seriously, not everybody's as smart and up-to-date on these kinds of things as you are. I don't know if you saw some of my previous comments or not, but about a month ago I clicked on one of these and that really hurt. This time I felt I was under attack by you, someone that I have always respected. How do we know Borut didn't click on that link? He is a great climber, but he is only a human with feelings. I hardly ever participate in forum because of constant bickering, and now this.

I remember first time this link came up was when one of the female members mentioned "this member" is super hot. All the men on the forum fell for it. It was hilarious.

Chad, I have always respected you and your contributions. Do you really want me to pack up and leave? Your opinion means a lot to me. No joke, no shit.

Hey, Marc .... it's really a joke. The URL is set up to return to the individual user who clicks on it.

It's just an "internet" trick. Chad doesn't want anybody to leave .... well, not that I know of, anyway ......

Thanks Larry, I was getting ready to pack. It was only a few weeks ago that I thought I was being insulted.
At the end of the day, this fu$#ing Internet shit may not be for me after all.

Marc,
This place will be much the less if you leave-I hope you know that.

Nobody knows the real reason why this Borut dude packed his pajamas. Unless he joins this thread with the reason, we can only guess and tip our hats.

:?

"slightly off course"? ahahahaha.....Chad and Marc are about to get drunk because of it, and now I feel guilty because I started this thread

 I seem to remember having something to do with that. Funny thing is, my inbox got flooded with PMs from hotties young and old after that incident... Hey, whatever bait catches the most fish, right? (Y'all know I'm kidding, correct?)

Yes, this "member link joke" is one of the tried-and-true forum jokes, right up there with the "Recruiting for the 2013 Men of SummitPost calendar" post. Or Larry posting pictures of maidens in dirndls or drunk bears at picnic tables or E.L.O. videos or...

Wait, what was the OP for this thread? I sense thread drift...

Marcsoltan, so help me God, if you try to leave this site I'll chase your hippy a$$ all the way to Joshua Tree, cut the rope and drag you back to your computer to rebuild your profile!

Chaberton too. I don't want to have to fly to Europe just to get him to resubmit all his articles. He's written some of the best on SP!
