Hey Scott, I visited Escalante the first week of May. Packed into Coyote Gulch. What a beautiful place Escalante is. I enjoyed your trip report. Thanks for sharing.

anyone headed to arches looking for a tech climb on the lighter side of desert challenges may find this intriguing. FYI, we don't agree with the 5.7 rating(5.8). we feel a 7 leader would appreciate knowing this beforehand as it was very trying for our leading skill level. at the same time, it was exactly what we needed while taking the next step.

Inner Sanctum

enjoy!

Two new Tucson Mountain peaks, Golden Gate Mountain and UN 3990 "Bren's Better", plus a Desert Deuce Route to pull them together. Enjoy! -Sarah

Personally, I don't give a ratass what appears on SP's front page. ALL I care about is getting dinner..
