Leastways I hope so. I've been looking at the damned thing for a couple years and somehow managed to not get up there yet. It's been a perfect rationalization of serious access issues, injuries, weather, and misadventure.

You folks?

Too many to mention-

and I won't mention them until they get done (and one I'll wait until the fall 2010 edition of Alpinist before I even mention one).

These within the next two weeks before access disappears till next year....

The one below being an ultra-Classic which is very seldom done....

Add a new direct 4-5P Variation to this Classic located just to the right of the one above...

Oh yeah, and maybe put up an FA during the same period that is located just to left of the first pic and directly above a very Classic AI-3ish Couloir...

Edit: Additions.

I´ve done it before, it´s a nice relaxed sport route. My rope partner´s been really ill so we´ve promised each other that that´ll be her first multi pitch route.

Might even get on this Choss Pile after completing the above lines which is also very very seldom done for the obvious reasons....

I hear you Radek .. usually I like to keep my mouth shut until afterward -- less likely to jinx the weather or something :)

Rick, Doors of Perception looks like a nice route -- would definitely like to hear how things go on that one. btw We were thinking of stopping by on Saturday while driving back from Big Pine, but we were kinda beat.

Hey ROB!

Saw your entry in the SILL SUMMIT LOG yesterday. Good on ya!

WHY?????

Cuz I Can, No one Else does Em (thank God!!!) and I Will.

Imgagineering really works ONLY if one pushes themselves beyond their self imposed limitations. One willl certainly be amazed at what their true potentials really are. It works only if one applies themselves to this ideal, 100%.

I have a pretty poor record at predicting the future, like most human beings. But I do want to get on the North Arete of this thing -

Image

And I want to finally complete this traverse -

Image

North Arete on this one is also on my list -

Image

I've been shut down twice on attempts to do this one -

Rob...

This "Incredible Personal Energy Power Tool" I speak of has absolutely NOTHING to do with predicting the future.

Has all to do ABOUT this....
