Ok Burcham's photo in the Alpinist (33) is better, but the photo's that weren't published were amazing

or this climb in Sedona, if you fall after the crux its so steep that you lower back to the belay behind the belayer.

I am still a beginner (which might explain some of the weirdness), but I can barely climb 5.6/5.7 face and am able to climb 5.9+ crack. Everyone thinks I am crazy, that after being shut down on a face route I choose to take the crack route... but that s the only way I am going to reach the top. I feel that I can get much better hands and feet in the crack than on the face where I am always slipping... Is something wrong with me?
