I went in the fall, but I highly recommend Indian and Titcomb Basins via Elkhart Park TH.

Haven't been there in winter but I'm thinking ozarkmac's suggestion is right on and might be your best option. Elkhart Park TH is not too far (1 mile, maybe a little more) from the end of the plowed road near the ski area.

The Elk Heart Trailhead is more like 3 miles from the end of the plowed road.

Did a short hike into Stough Creek Basin in SE end this summer.
It's a relatively short way into an alpine basin, shorter than most in the Winds.
Might be a very cool spot in winter with a much shorter approach than Titcomb, which would be an amazing place in winter too.
Not sure about the plowing sitch for Stough, but it's on the loop road close to Lander, so it might be pretty good.
