| I returned to the most beautiful peak of Pyrenees and the day was wonderful on a friday with only 10 persons in the normal route (and some rock-climbers in Ag.Santé and P.Aragón). I love this mountain! | |

| A lot of time ago that I was waiting to be able to climb this mountain and finally I could have achieved it. When I started doing mountaineering a few years ago I started seeing the Midi d'Ossau from all the sides and angles but I never thought that I was capable to climb it. We are improving time to time but the occasion does not come. The satisfaction was immense when I achieved it because for some unknown reason this mount is converted in mythically for many persons into the Pyrenees. It is not only for his difficulty with the chimneys but also for his investor and round beauty. Today I will dream of this mountain and will continue dreaming of returning. Spanish version: Hace mucho tiempo que esperaba para poder subir este monte y por fin he podido lograrlo. Cuando empecé a hacer montañismo hace unos años comencé a ver el Midi d'Ossau desde todos los lados y ángulos pero nunca pensé que fuese capaz de subirlo. Con el tiempo vas mejorando pero no surge la ocasión. La satisfacción es inmensa cuando lo logras porque por alguna razón desconocida este monte se convierte en mítico para muchas personas en los Pirineos. No es sólo por su dificultad con las chimeneas sino también por su imponente y rotunda belleza. Hoy soñaré con esta montaña y seguiré soñando con volver. Rafa Bartolomé | |
