I tend to agree, though that's out of my range of expertise. But the E face reminded me a lot of Long's Peak's Diamond, only skinnier. And minus the thousand ppl a day....

According to Bueler, "Pigeon's east face precipice was finally climbed in 1977 by Steve Matous and Dave Maxwell -- a difficult ten-pitch rock climb (rated 5.9) on rotten rock." (Roof of the Rockies, p. 197).
