Bellissimo also meaning beautiful is the word I have to describe this picture! Amazing shot. Love the canyon effect or at least it looks like a canyon or a walkway to the end of the earth or something. Well anyhow what I'm trying to say is nice picture!

Canyon? Hmm, it's a steep couloir and the pictura actually can't display the real depth of the abyss. Vid says he has ascended this couloir in winter on skis...

The latitude between the light and shadow is very impresive.

Thanks - actually I was luck that Špik was in the sun during our descent. While ascending I took a picture of the same scenery and it turned out completely dark. Camera is a Konica Minolta Dynax 7D with a 18mm - 200mm zoom lense (also KM).
