
| I camped at Dore Head, the saddle between Yewbarrow and Red Pike and was planning to make my way to Honister Pass, going over every fell along the route. It was a warm day, but Pillar was still relatively early in the route so it didn't take all that long to get there.
Approaching the summit from the southwest, it was a really gentle route, but soon after I got past the summit, descending towards the east, I could see part of the very rugged northern slopes. Impressive! |
