| Climbed during a stormy weekend from Piute Pass along with Mount Humphreys the next day. Set up camp in the basin and headed over to Pilot Knob the first afternoon. Was stopped for about 45 minutes en route crossing the basin, then again at the saddle laying under a boulder for three hours waiting out the rain and lightning. Was worth the wait. Similar experiences with rain and hail the next two days. | |
