Do you about what the temp was? Was there any avalanche danger?

Temp was -25F that morning, maybe only -15F by this time. We didn't cross anything too dangerous. Most of it was blown solid and frozen. The terrain getting down toward Granite was a little steeper, but we never got that far. Next year.

One reason I ask is that I plan to be in that area in mid November and I wonder what it will be like.

This was taken in March. Aero lake won't be frozen, but there will probably be feet of snow by then. Ski resorts are getting ready to open by mid-November. And we did have some pretty cold weather last November, single digits. But as for what it will be like THIS November, well it could be really cold and snowy, or warm and dry. There is no way to tell at this point.

I plan on asking more about a week before we leave. It sounds like we should plan on snow shoes.
