I'm not splitting hairs but this marker is a "reference" marker, not a benchmark. A benchmark has a triangle in the center while reference markers have arrows pointing toward the single benchmark.

It does say "reference mark" right on the thing doesn't it. Because I am lazy and haven't learned all the nuances of these markers, I call any metal disk on a mountain a "benchmark"
