Exposure with little risk
Once you do this guy you’ll be back because it feels like a much bigger climb than it actually is. The summit is like a large room, flat and a great place for lunch. This is another peak on which I’ve lost count of my visits.

spring traverse
Friday the 13th of May solo hike. Nice conditions and nobody else around. Also tagged Mt Diller.

Winter traverse
Part of a two day winter trip camped at the base of Lassen Peak. Climbed Lassen the first afternoon, then traversed the full ridge to right before Brokeoff. Had thoughts of going up Brokeoff but it didn't look like the east ridge went too easy.

East slope between Pilot and Ski HeilI started from the road below over too far to the left and wound up floundering in steep sand/scree. Typical idiocy! Nice day though.
