Pine Creek Canyon - ZNP

It's so dark and wet, but I also cool looking and mysterious. One of these days I am going to have to use a tripod, but for a hand held shot in the dark of a wet slot canyon - I am happy with this one. :)

Agree, it looks exciting!

If you used a tripod for longer exposure that would not have been the way it actually looks.
Are there many places like this?

That is a good point and I like it since I hate to carry a tripod... well I think I would hate it. I have never carried one. ;)

Pine Creek is deep... and quite dark in many places. When I took this photo there was a lot of water.. and has been since actually. The drought ended one year and since it's been wet in Zion's canyons and harder to take photos. I like this one though... dark, mysterious and real!
