Pine Creek  Sucess!

Twice during this trip. One before and one after a flash flood. That does make a difference. Very nice rap at the end

Great adventure  Sucess!

Had the route to ourselves on a screaming hot day in Zion. The canyon was scenic and refreshing and I loved the last rap.

Cold but nice  Sucess!

Great lighting if you get the timing right. Would be worth waiting in the cold to get a nice pic. Nice raps.

Didn't see a soul  Sucess!

Based on the route descriptions, I was expecting to see throngs of people in this slot. However, I seemed to have the whole canyon to myself. I took my time and didn't see anyone. Beautiful slot, and the Great Cathedral rappel was fantastic. Though perhaps the most interesting part of the day was staggering up exit in a wetsuit to a stopped bus full of European tourists taking my picture. Sweet.

Beautiful Canyon  Sucess!

I have been there with 6 othere members from LV Rock climbing meetup group. This was my first canyoneering and didn't have wet suits. Water was cold even in the middle of summer. I was keep shivering in the entire canyon until bottom of 100 ft rappel.
This canyon is not very long and can finish in few hous.

Beautiful and super fast  Sucess!

The canyon was amazingly scenic, it also took almost no time to explore. Great half day or less venture

Pine Creek  Sucess!

Combined with Ashtar Tower for a relaxed day at Zion. With Joe A., Adam and Joanna....met Joe French at the parking lot going in when we were leaving....Zach told me he and Joe F. set the record for this canyon...now Joe F tells me he set the solo record....he jumped vs rapped, no rope...less than 30 minutes...maniac I say...can skirt the last huge rap to the left he says, please do not jump that one! So a Monday, not a holiday...still ran into Courtney, Zach, Joe F, another partner of Joe A''s along with several other folks we knew who were kayaking the Virgin that day...unreal for a Monday I thought. Life is good.

Everything I hoped for  Sucess!

Did this with my 4 sisters-in-law. My first technical canyon, but I had wanted to see it every since my brother did it in 2001.

Was glad I was wearing a wetsuit.

Excellent  Sucess!

Great canyon! Did it in late October and the canyon was very full in many spots. The Great Cathedral was a swimming disconnect and lots of fun. The last rappel is a great finish to a beautiful canyon.

Dark and Wet  Sucess!

Although relatively short, this one can be surprising. Once, in June, the slot was dry, hot, and fairly unmemorable. Less than two months later the slot was a mess of broken timbers, deep muddy pools, and long, cold swims--a significantly different experience and much more memorable.

First Canyon Descent  Sucess!

This was my very first canyoneering experience, and I was hooked. Absolutely beautiful slot canyon.
