8 mile  Sucess!

Started at the parking lot in front of the closed gate of American Fork Canyon and the Alpine loop. It's 8 miles round trip from there. Small little cairn of rocks at the top. Other than that, can't really tell it's a peak/summit. But great views off the north side of Tibble Fork Canyon and Mill Canyon Peak. It was sloshy and muddy today from yesterday's storm. But an otherwise great day.

Pine Hollow  Sucess!

I wanted to see the fall colors and this hike was a good choice. The summit is forested but the ridge offers some open views of Timp and surrounding peaks.

Nice hike  Sucess!

I was looking for something to do and this one looked worthwhile. It was. It was Eric's website posting of this one that got my interest and his directions were spot on. I only met two mountain bikers (on the way up) and the same two horsemen (both ways) and a lone hiker. Some really nice views of Mt. Timpanogos as I neared the peak. I've got a few pics I can add later on as this one was a nice hike.
