After about 8 miles or so from highway 225, watch for FS road 056, which is signed for Gold Creek Guard station. Turn right on this road and you will go past the Gold Creek Guard station after a short distance. After passing the guard station, the road gets progressively rougher and you will definitely need high clearance and 4WD to take the road up to waypoint 3, found on map 3. Depending on your vehicle and comfort level, you could park at any point you feel it appropriate and hike from there.
