Pinnacle Buttes-- Main Summit

Seen from the summit of Pinnacle Butte NE, with a small slice of the Wind River Range visible to the left.

In the foreground is a maze of breccia pinnacles, spires, and outcrops. The entire summit area is like this; it provides interesting scrambling and one jaw-dropping scene after another.

Looks like a decrepit castle... a little haunting and mostly overwhelming.

	Hasn't voted	Great description. Interestingly enough, when I was up on the mountain I took the shot from, my feeling about the setting was a lot like your description.
