| Parked at Patterdale Hotel 6.30am - pay & display £4.50 for the day. Up at start of Pinnacle Ridge by 8am and top of St Sunday by 9am - delightful little climb & at that time of day I didn't see a soul although (for once) weather was perfect. I went on to complete the round, taking in Farfield and finally Helvellyn, descending striding edge - in total over 20km plus over 1400m ascent - to be recommended - a great day out. | |
