3rd of three  Sucess!

Very open summit area. The entire three summit loop from Gunstock took three hours to complete.

Piper-Whiteface  Sucess!

Ran/hiked this with Whiteface. A perfect morning stroll through the woods, albeit extremely hot given the fact that it was late September.

short and sweet  Sucess!

What's not to like? short, easy, best views in the range, lots of blueberries in season. I do this one often with my dogs, either as a quickie by itself, or in combination with Belknap and Gunstock.

Needed easy day after drizzly Presidentials  Sucess!

Thought we were being greedy filling empty canteens with
blueberries until we saw people with boxes on packboards

Route Climbed: Old Piper Mountain Trail Date Climbed: 10/20/05  Sucess!

I was very surprised by the remarkable views from this mountain.
