Piz Bernina summit block ( 13284ft / 4049 m)

Piz Bernina summit block ( 13284ft / 4049 m) as seen from Piz Alv/ Piz Bianco (3992m), which marks the actual highpoint of the Biancograt. The last part of the Biancograt route to the summit of Bernina is clearly visible on this photo and first passes along the steep flank in front and later directly up the rockface in front. If you look closely you can spot a climber on the summit (see fullsize). And also one halfway the last part of the route. Do you see them?! Climbing is very airy and up to UIAA III. Amazing route up the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps. The peaks in the left are Bellavista (3922m) and Piz Zupo (3996m) August 2017
