Hasn't voted | Thanks. I must admit that I readjusted the sharpness a little. I usually shrink my pictures to 1024 x n and this blurs them. I never know if the amount of sharpening I apply afterwards is correct. With this picture I would probably have said it was too little. Tells how differently we view the world ... | | Posted Nov 9, 2008 10:32 am |

Voted 10/10 | You've caught Piz Buin from its most beautiful side. I can't find the proper words to express my admiration. Bravo Gangolf and thanks for posting!

Hasn't voted | You're absolutely right about the most beautiful side. I'm very happy we actually did this hike to the Furcletta Saddle if only because of the views towards these mountains. While hiking I thought differently (see TR if you haven't already done so).
Actually from this side Piz Buin looks a bit like the little brother of your favourite Monte Agner. Little though it is much higher ;-) | | Posted Nov 10, 2008 4:53 am |

Hasn't voted | Yes, aren't they? But you can't capture in a photo the emotion you feel when you have just struggled up to a saddle and see this. That's why we go to the mountains ourselves, isn't it? | | Posted Nov 10, 2008 4:55 am |
