interesting problem

Yesterday a friend and I tried to climb the "Big Micheluzzi" route on the Piz Ciavazes. During the first pitch a huge rockfall came down, but it landed far out from the wall in the trees. Oh well, let's keep going. Then another one, with super high speed missles landing around us. We escaped as fast as possible. Looking up, we saw two quite large frozen waterfalls over 500 meters above. The sun had hit them 30 minutes before. We were silly not to notice it...a danger of late-fall climbing!
