Piz Palü, Fortezza Ridge
Approaching the Fortezza Ridge (May 2005);
The Piz Palü Western Pillar is left of the Fortezza Ridge, the ice-capped main summit is just hidden by the clouds.
My clmbing partner Gerald stands in the notch, watching the scenery.

Thanks!
I will really try to get more into b/w, either digital (this was taken with a Sony DCS 828) or with slides.

Cheers,
