Dimai  Sucess!

Nice challenging route, not always that easy to find the right way, but in the end, it's always up. An engaged descent! Climbed with 3, started about 9am at Sella Joch haus and back at our car at 8pm at night...

strange night

Some experiences make you grow... especially in the spirit...

I climbed the "Harrer" route non the south wall, but unfortunately night caught me two lenghts below the summit and I had to spend the night on a little edge. I had time to think, to dream and to cry... and the following morning all the world seemed different, because I was more conscious of its power.
This wonderful and amazing night made me sad and ashamed, because I wasn't able to come down on my own and had to call for help, but changed deeply my attitude towards mountaineering and mountains.
Today I have failed... but soon I'll be back to win nothing else but my fears and my limits.

Route Climbed: Dimai Date Climbed: 7th September 2004  Sucess!

Climbed with the help of Kevin Williams, Dave Kyle and John Spiers. My first 'big' mountain route and definitely one to remember, particularly the night time descent! Add at least 50% to the guide book times if you're not so experienced like me!

Route Climbed: Normal way Date Climbed: aug. 2000  Sucess!

Very nice climbing but very long and tiring. Really an Alpine way. Needs to be able to climb in wild environments (and it was the normal way!!!!)
