Fantastic sunny day, in August. Route: Ziar- Tatranska Magistrala - Jamnicka Valley - Ostry (Careful in the Notch! I was sort of jogging - shouldn't have - and nearly lost balance) - Smutne Sedlo - Ziarska Valley - Ziar
My first trip in Western Tatras was simply perfect, with two my good friends. Trip: Ziar - Smutne sedlo - Placlivy Rohac - Ostry Rohac - Volovec - Derava - Hruby vrch - Jakubina - Otrhance - Rackova valley.

We completed a chain of summits above Ziarska valley during our stay in Western Tatras. It was wonderful.

on the way from BaranecAfter descent from baranec we continued our trip to Ziarska pass and Placlivy.Then hiked down to Smutna pass by the easy ridge.
