Hello,

I'm an Italian engineer living in Switzerland for almost 3 years now. I have always been keen on hiking but from last summer the idea was to move up to the next level. I took a mountaineering course in the Alps for 4 days. Just enough to learn the very very basic. Problem is that so far I did not get too many chances to go out there and climb something. Main reason is that I need a partner for such things. I'm really willing to go out there and try some mountaineering route (grade PD for the moment would do). My experience is very limited. So far I only climbed Piz Palü with the SAC, Wildstrubel with two friends and Breithorn alone. Would be really nice to have a partner to go mountaineering with on a regular basis. The idea is to start from something easy at the beginning, PD route, but if experience comes in, why not trying something more challenging!
