Description

Probably planning a trip to the eastern side of the Sierras and Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite.

I haven't done any actual climbing for a couple of years, but I am a very confident scrambler and I can climb at 5.9-10. Climbed several 14ers in CO including a traverse of the Maroon Bells, as well as the Grand Teton, Rainier, Hood, Baker, Shasta, and canyoneering. I'm planning to solo a few traverses but wouldn't mind some company if anyone had the same time frame. Probably 16 days including travel from Grand Junction, CO.

Highlights including:
Death Valley N.P. (Badwater, Telephone Peak?)
Mt. Whitney, Russel, Muir
Mt. Langley (and Lone Pine?)
Palisade Traverse (Thunderbolt to Sill)
Banner Peak, Mt. Ritter, Thousand Island Lake
Minarets Traverse
Devil's Postpile N.M.
Mono Lake
hot springs

Yosemite:
Cathedral Range Traverse (incl. Matthes Crest N to S traverse)
Mt. Lyell and Maclure
Half Dome via Cloud's Rest (with Tenaya Peak, Tresidder, and Columbia Finger)
North Peak and Mt. Conness

I will be doing some Eastern Sierra peaks this summer if you want to get together. I would also like to head back to Utah to do some canyoneering. When are you going to be in California? I don't check my page her that often so send me an email at caseyflowe@yahoo.com

I plan to climb Mt. Whitney this summer for my first time and am looking for partners. I'm shooting for Aug. 6 for the lottery. Any interest?

I'm not sure yet what date I'm planning on going. But I do know that I'm planning a long day that would include Muir, Russel, and probably Carillon.

I'd be interested in LLP.

Honestly, LLP is probably last on my list. And since I wasn't able to get a permit ahead of time for Whitney I might be stuck trying to get one in person multiple days. Let me know if you're interested in anything else.
