Description

Like to climb the West Rib in 2014. Anyone in need of a climber for their team. I was on Denali West Buttress two years ago, after 7 days at high camp for weather my two partners called it a day and we walked out. Like a do over but on the West Rib.

Have you had any interest yet? I was planning on the west buttress for this coming spring but I can find partners to commit. I'd be interested in the rib possibly....

Hey,
I'm taking a team of 6 to the west buttress. Would you be interested in joining our party?

I've been on that route and would prefer the West Rib. Anyone in your group interested in Rib if the conditions were good?

was thinking about climbing Denali for a couple of years but only now I think I start to consider it more seriously. Haven't climbed outside US so can't claim much experience at very high altitudes but I'm a pretty tough hiker/mountaineer (at least compared to most people I've climbed/hiked with). I just started to research the details a few weeks ago so not sure just how much is involved in preparation and how big the budget realistically should be so can't commit just yet but if you fill me in on the details I think I can decide pretty fast if I can get my act together by 2014 season. let me know if you might consider me for your party

Hey, I"m putting together a team of 6 to climb. I believe the cost will be around 2200$ plus your air fair to Anchorage.

Are you still thinking about making the climb?

I'm looking at the west butt route late May through mid June. All my buddies here in Bellingham are out for this year. Are you looking to go unguided? Why or Why not?

Hi,
I'm putting together a team of 6 for May, and taking care of all logistics. Would you be interested?

Unguided. Did west buttress two years ago. Caught in weather at high camp for 7 days. My two partners quit after that. Couldn't solo.

Unguided for cost.

West Rib because of crowds.

Hi everyone. I'm available June 13th on this year - if anyone is going that late, please email me daugherty.larry@mayo.edu

I'd love to join an unguided trip. I have done Rainier x4, Aconcagua, Elbrus & Kili, among other experience. Lots of winter camping including the arctic.

Hi there, how things going? I been thinking about Denali for long time and this year I need to decided if I go back to the Himalayas, Andes or Alaska and can't stop think about Alaska. I have high altitude experience, but my max was 6400m, sleeping 2 nights in 5800m and the last 600m was 60-80 degress ice wall. I will interesting in a team of min 4 and max 6, climbing team of 2. Do you want to do the whole west rib or the cut off?

Actually I will do with a team of 3, but would prefer at least 4, if someone has to turn back, 2 still can keep going if feeling strong.

My e-mail is angel.spo@gmail.com
I will be open to discuss the climb

Hope to get a team together

I am working toward a team also. I can lead or someone else can if they want. I just want to get back on Denali. Climbed to a bit over the 17.2 high camp in 2011 but got pushed back. If interested, email (jflanders@flandersengineering.com) or PM me and we can get some conversation going.
